<<Preorder — In production, ships late May>>
The Bird Maker Illustrated Novella for all ages. 7 x10. 60 pages. 20 Illustrations A boy walks the forest and learns, slowly, that not everything he makes is meant to stay.
The Bird Maker is a quiet, illustrated story about making, letting go, and the space in between. Set in a forest that does not hurry or explain, it follows a boy who brings small birds to life and begins to notice that some return changed, and some do not return at all. What begins as curiosity becomes a form of attention—one that asks him to see not only what he creates, but what remains.
Designed in the tradition of early twentieth-century books, with illustrations inspired by N. C. Wyeth.
