Neil Powell is a designer, publisher and artist whose career has moved across graphic design, branding, publishing and fine art. He began his career at Duffy Design in the early 1990s, later opening his own office in New York, and has created work for clients including Coca-Cola, BMW, Miller Brewing, Diageo, Penguin Books, MTV, Armani, Perry Ellis and the Sundance Film Festival. His work has been recognized by Cannes, D&AD, AIGA, The Effies, The One Club and the New York Art Directors Club, and is included in the permanent collection of the Cooper Hewitt, Smithsonian Design Museum.

Today, Powell’s practice is focused on three areas: beverage branding and packaging, independent publishing, and his ongoing Perívallo series of graphite drawings. Through The Studio of Neil Powell, he writes, designs and publishes books as complete objects, bringing together typography, image, production and narrative. His recent beverage work includes the identities and packaging for Catskill Brewery and Ancient Drinks.
